Athanasios Haritos holds first professional and postgraduate degrees from The City College of The City University of New York, BArch (Bachelor of Architecture), and Columbia University, MSAAD (Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design). The work produced in the office has received national and international recognition in prestigious architectural periodicals and books such as Architectural Record, Phaidon Press Publications, and Architecture in Greece Press. 

All architectural scales are viable and momentous in scope, honoring the intricacies and values of site, program, mutual client / architect aspirations, cultural and technological acuities, and climatic and topographical nuances, while upholding the integrity, craft, ideals, and punctuation of each work. 

The objective in each project is to elicit beauty, and to create spaces that promote well being aspiring to our noblest values, elevating the physical and spiritual experience, through vital assertions and compelling spatial tensions and harmonies. It’s about space, space and light is everything.. It is possible to evoke an entire universe in the ideation, articulation, and projection, of an architectural construct or house. In addition to the architectural practice, Athanasios Haritos has been academically active as adjunct associate professor of architectural design synthesis at The City College of New York, CUNY – Spitzer School of Architecture from 1998 through 2017. As of 2017 the architectural practice is operating and based in Limnos, Greece. Athanasios Haritos is a licensed architect, and a chartered member of the Technical Chamber of Greece, EU
